It’s a vast world out there full of endless books ranging from self-help to autobiographies to Young Adult- and the list goes on. How do you get your book noticed and how do you ascertain whether to hire a PR firm?

E2W Collective has launched public relations campaigns for myriad authors over the years. We always look for something compelling that will inspire people to want to read the book and build an effective strategy around that premise. For example, for Melissa Rivers’ New York Times best-selling The Book of Joan, we focused on the savvy life lessons that her mother, the late Joan Rivers, had taught her over the years. In our outreach we conveyed some of those anecdotes from the book and were able to secure a huge list of broadcast, print and online media that resulted in the book’s success. The campaign kicked off with a Today Show interview and from there we secured People magazine, Entertainment Tonight, Ellen, etc.

For Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval’s Fancy AF Cocktails which features artisanal cocktail recipes from their years of bartending we set up media with the couple making cocktails to help entice readers to purchase the book. From Buzzfeed to Hearst digital to E! Entertainment to People magazine, the duo showed how easy it could be done. E2W has also created campaigns for children’s book authors. We worked with Julian Lennon on Love the Earth which inspires children to nurture Earth and the save the planet. The media tour launched in New York on The View and also featured a mommy influencer event hosted by The Moms which earned millions of impressions.

In addition to celebrity authors, E2W works with medical experts such as oncologist Dr. Steven Eisenberg on his inspirational book, Love is the Strongest Medicine, which shines a spotlight on the need for compassion in medical care. Dr. Eisenberg was featured on The Doctors Ask An Expert, Survivornet.com (the largest online community providing cancer support) and will be a guest on Good Morning America’s third hour with Dr. Jennifer Ashton in July 2021.

The company also works with top people from the news media. They just launched Today Show’s news anchor Craig Melvin’s first book just in time for Father’s Day, Pops: Learning To Be A Son And A Father. Key media placements include the cover of Craig with his family on Parents magazine, People magazine, Parade, and many others.
